Dr. Livshin has expertise on the impact of disasters and critical incidents on individuals, families, communities, and the workplace. She has worked as a disaster mental health consultant since 1992, providing community outreach, crisis intervention, and counseling.
She has extensive experience with airline personnel, first responders, and emergency medical workers. The critical incidents she has responded to, include: 9/11, the Haitian earthquake, and the Boston Marathon bombing.
Dr. Livshin enjoys training other psychologists in disaster mental health and community crisis intervention. She is available to provide workshops in Psychological First Aid and other areas relevant to disaster response.
